MEDIATION
Chad A. Shimel is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. He can mediate lawsuits and pre-suit claims including probate, trust, and guardianship disputes, insurance coverage matters, business and real estate disputes, among others.
Chad's broad range of experience representing clients in real estate, probate, trust, guardianship, and estate planning matters gives him a unique perspective from which to help parties utilize alternative dispute resolution to its maximum potential. An area of the law that Chad has significant experience with involves fiduciary litigation and claims of breach of fiduciary duties by trustees, personal representatives, and guardians. While Chad firmly believes in our adversarial system of justice, utilizing creativity and experience to facilitate communication between adversaries can effectively and efficiently reduce costly litigation, a benefit to all parties to the dispute.
Mediation conferences are held in our Lake Mary office, with plenty of free parking, or at such other locations as may be chosen by the parties.
